Theurer's Quality Meats is a family owned facility located in Lewiston, Utah. Our commitment to safety and customer satisfaction has been passed down through four generations. We recently built a new processing facility in May of 2004, celebrating our 100th anniversary. The goal of Theurer's Quality Meats is to serve the highest quality and safest products to our customers. We specialize in offering unique, premium cuts that meet your specifications.
Theurer's Quality Meats is an Organically Certified processor and distributor of USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) inspected Beef, Bison, Lamb, and Pork. We ensure quality product through HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) compliance, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) programs. The plants Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures include daily pre-operational and operational inspections, that ensure that the facility is ready to process.
Our food safety process uses a multiple hurdle approach. Our HACCP plan is designed to reduce, prevent, and eliminate physical, chemical, and biological hazards. We monitor controls daily and conduct verification activities to ensure that the critical control points are being achieved. Inspection and process verification by USDA personnel occurs before the mark of inspection can be placed on our products.
